l.lyle - you are a one man film crew, and we thought we were high tech with the cassette recorder and 35mm SLR back in the 80's ! I did find an old cassete a while back, and managed to convert it over to MP3, so hopefully I don't have to worry about it breaking down or getting lost again .... just turn on the media player and break out photo albulm and it's like traveling back in time ! You might be able to edit your videos using Window's Live Movie Maker, it comes with messenger and hotmail stuff. I haven't tried it yet, but it allows you to cut clips up and put them back together to make movies. There are some cheaper little video cameras like Vivatar that come with programs to edit and work with your videos that might work pretty good also. They are HD and beings they uses SD cards for memory ... think up to 8gb, might be 16gb, you could make epics not just shorts ! Somebody needs to come up with a floodlense or light to spread out the light for one man film crews to use, so it lights up area and not just a point.
