RIP GRNITECH CH RHOADES TREEING RED RAMBO HTX, hit tonight by an idiot who didn't even have the balls to stop. RIP my friend and my husbands best dog & friend. U will be truly missed.

Im sorry for your loss. There is nothing worse than coming up on your dog laying on the road. I have experienced it numerous times here in Indiana where there is a road every mile.

Its a chance we take everytime we turn a dog loose, accidents happen. He might have not known what it was or might have mistaken it for a deer etc... saying the driver needs the $#!& beat out of him for an accident is immature and irresponsible. Attitudes like that are what cause people to look down on coonhunters.

Thanks for all the phone calls, PM's and reply's, Mike appreciates them all. Unfortunatly Mike watched this whole thing take place and it was a truck load of teenagers who swerved into the wrong lane to for what ever reason to purposely hit Rambo. They stoped for a brief moment in time for Mike to get over the fence to him and then laughing loudly out the window spun their tires and thru gravel on him.
Thru all of this tho, anger and sadness Mike does not wish them any ill will for those who make choices like that karma will return the favor in the future.
Right now Mike wants to take some time away from coonhunting and hopefully at some point will get the want to hear those hounds chase that ringtail.

Sorry to hear this, hopefully the wonderful memories you have of this awesome hound can help take away some of the the pain. I lost my best friend and hunting buddy Cowboy like that 2 yrs ago in a nite hunt, words cannot even begin to describe the feelings. Good Luck with everything and sorry again for your loss. When things like this happen I so wish the guilty ones could feel the pain and hurt themselves that they brought to those they have hurt, mistreated, mamed and killed each day for the rest of their life. I have no mercy for people that intentionally do these vicious type things. They will have to answer for their wrong doing one day and I wonder if they will be laughing then. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss .. It sucks to have this happen . I had a good Walker hit ,the ole man when I caught him at the staion he didnt even know he hit her .I honestly dont know how he passed his driving test he was about 80 or more

Just seen this post and so sorry for you loss. Bad enough to loose a hound but that way it happened is so terrible and glad Mike didn't get hurt.

Annie is a place away from her NITECH degree with two first place wins in three hunts. She's a pleasure to have around and is a extremly easy keeper around the house.
