Garmin pointer

My Astro 220 does not point towards the dogs and the compass does not point north. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Only other thing i know you could try is to reset it... But it is like Mike says you have to move around for it to get a fix.

How do I perform a Master Reset on my Astro 220 / 320?

There are a few instances in which you may want to perform a master reset on your Astro 220 or 320, such as:

not receiving a satellite signal
want to restore the factory default settings
not functioning properly
All settings, user data*, and satellite data may be erased when resetting the GPS. User data can be backed up to the computer, therefore refer to the FAQ article "How do I back up user data from my Astro?" before performing the reset.

To perform the master reset:

Turn off the Astro
Press Map, Enter, and Power simultaneously
Release on Power button once the Astro powers On
Release on remaining buttons when the Do you really want to erase all user data? message appears
Select Yes
The Astro 220 or 320 is now reset. You will want to leave the device outside with a clear view of the sky for a minimum of 20 minutes to acquire satellite data.

*User data consists of waypoints, routes, tracks, and geocaches
