Rule ?

All dogs in cast are treed and you can hear all dogs treeing.
As the cast gets closer to the tree they hear 1 dog shut up
when they get to the tree the dog that shut up is at the tree
standing be side it and even gets up on the tree. How is this dog
scored ? is it still declared tree and scored according to how the cast scores the tree or do you minus it for not being treed?

Once more than one is treed it only takes one dog barking every two minutes to keep all of them treed.

Good question Bob. There's a rule that covers the exact situation. What's that rule that applies experts?

Only way to minus that dog that shut up and is standing by the tree declared treed on is if he is seen down milling around on the ground smell all over.. when he is standing beside the tree and gets up on it he is showing treed aslong as the others are barking he is safe

Rule 4f states, after a dog is declared treed, at least one of the dogs declared treed must bark at least once every 2 minutes until the cast arrives at tree,or be minused. If no dog barks in 2 minutes, tree declared open.
Therefore all dogs at tree when cast arrives at tree are plussed, unless it can be proven a dog had moved.

Ok everybody seems to be on the same paige with that.
Now we are going to a differnt senario. 4 dog cast 3 dogs
are declared treed 4th dog is opened away from the dogs that
are treed tree closes cast goes to the tree and handles the dogs
starts to search the tree while searching the tree the 4th dog comes in goes to the tree gets on the tree but does not say anything and gets back down mills around the tree should this dog be handled ?
