Best food to feed

I need help. What is the best food you can get a Wal-Mart to keep a coonhound looking good and in hunting shape. Have no hunting supply stores around to get anything else. Could make a 45 min drive to a TSC or feed store. Thanks

I agree, I'd buy a month supply at Tractor Supply, so you only have to go once a month. Your going to pay more for a over less quality feed at Walmart.

Buy the Purina Pro Plan. Not sure that Wal-Mart has it, because i do not buy feed there, but i know they have the purina one and the dog chow. If not performance the one should work well.

I get my feed from TSC its a good price and has my dogs looking and feeling good. I feed green bag retreiver during the spring and summer season its 21/10. When fall and winter role around and I'm running hard I feed the blue bag retreiver its 26/17.

If your buying from WalMart the best you are going to find is Purina One. Fed it for a couple years and it is a good feed. Call Purina and get signed up in the Pro Club if you are going to feed it for a while and it wil help you save a few bucks on it.

Iams has a new feed coming out that is a 29/19 feed designed for sporting dogs that may be a pretty good feed but I have not fed it or seen it at my local Walmart yet.
