Found: Walker Coon Dog (Orlinda, TN)

Adairville Ky/Orlinda TN Stateline

On the morning of October 29th we found this dog on our front porch, curled up in a ball. The dog is very sweet and trained to hunt. I have turned it out twice and it goes straight to the woods and trees. It is exceptional and I know that someone has put alot of work into training this dog, as it will stay and bark for hours on end, as it is still doing while I type this. I need to find its home fast, as we are not hunters and this dog lives for hunting. I am worried that we will ruin its hunting ability. As I know that these trained dogs are stolen frequently and can be worth alot of money, I want to do my best to find its proper owner. I will ask you to identify certain characteristics such as sex, age, distinct scarring/color markings, etc... Thanks for understanding! 615-708-4216

If the owner is not found within a reasonable amount of time, it will be available to a good home.

Comming from someone who really loves his dogs, I would like to say a big thank you for your attempt to find the rightful owner of this hound. Seems like there are few people nowdays that will make any effort to do the right thing, thanks again.

Found dog

Could this be the dog?

He was stolen from his pen in Tenn/ GA border about a year ago. So this pic is a year old. We are still looking for him.

Definitely not him. Beautiful dog, though. The one I have has alot more white with large spots. I hope you find him soon and I am sorry some lowlife would do that to you. Ive never been around these dogs before but I have gained a large amount of respect for them, especially after having this one visit here. I never realized how much these dogs really, really love what they do. This one ran off to the woods last night and was out there for 8 hours solid.
