a dogs nose

would like to hear opinions,had a discussion the other night about dogs being hot or cold nosed a buddy said he thinks dogs all have the same tracking ability but some are more determined to use it than others been giving this some thought what do you all think

no not all dogs have the same ability.If that were the case you could breed anything and get a decent nose.Years and years have been spent breeding for a better nose with a better brain attached to it.Not all dogs will turn out some do better than others.Acull is a cull.selective breeding is what gives dogs advantages over other lines that were not bred so selectivly.JMO
