Virginia hunters...What range yall gettin out of your Garmins?

Virginia Hunters...What range are yall getting out of your Garmins? AT best mine is about 900 yards...when its picking up at all. Just wanted to see what other people are getting....is 900 yards in central Va normal? Thanks.

I get anywhere from 800 yards to 6 tenths of a mile with the standard antenna depends on how thick the cutovers are. But the land is real flat here.

Ok...im not the only one then...may try a longet range antena. I have the one on top of my jeep, but hunting around the house, I do not generally use my vehicle. Thanks for the response.

I haven't tried to see how far my truck antenna will pick up yet. But i am sure once deer season comes in i will be able to tell ya.
