REPLY TO YOUR QUESTION
First of all ,have patience
2ndly:at 1 year old you are not training her correctly.ley me help you,you should started her when she was a pup about 3-6 months old is where I start them myself,to many pees in the pot you have develped a bad problem, heres what you do:
keep her by her self, show her very much affection and introduce her to the scent of a coon, you can go to any outdoors stores like gander mountain, bass pro shop etc and get coon piss, next get you a coon tail and let it soak in that scent for about 3 days then let it air dry, about day 5 ,I want you to tie a rope or strong string to it and find you a long green limb that will bend and tie the end to the tip real good, after that ,I want to start to introduce the scent to her ,if you have to hold it under her nose and get her to play with it,do this for about a week straight, when you are not doing this run here with no ther dogs.if she keep turning her head away from the scent ,then she has an alegery problem.but if you can get her to keep her nose on it move on to the next step
thirdly:get a live coon, place coon in roll cage and roll the coon towards her in other words let her get ticked off at it.
once she crosses that stage pull the cage up using a strong rope and a strong tree branch and pull the coon up just out of reach and see what she does, if she dont show sign of game or treeing then It may be genetic.
forthly:if she does try to get the coon the problem lyes some wheres else, most time ive seen this in 1-2 year olds that have been started wrong and disaplined to bad and the dog becomes very confused, when that happens ,I strongly advise makeing a house pet out of them, because at 2 years of age they are pretty much set in their own ways.if you didnt live so far away I would reccomend you bringing her over and working with her with you.
Misc questions that need to be answered before I would try the above methods:These may show you where your problem may be,if these test are all negative, then you know your problem can be corrected with time and patience with the above methods I descibed to you in the start of this message,I have been Training dogs now for 30 years and am a certified vet tech,I strongly advise you to have her tested at your local vet clinic and with a vet you are comfortable with.
1.have a certified vet look her over, eyes, nose and mouth
2.blood culture,(alagens)
3.xrays(spine,legs,internal exams)
4.EARS
5:Genetic problems in the past(culls)
6.now for the babling, dont be cruel!!!!
add a bark coller and run her alone she will eventually get the point eventaully, you dont wont to stop her from having a good mouth if you know what i mean.....good luck with her,all else feels please contact me ...I am willing to help you......dave
