I'll post pictures of the pups after they arrive. They will likely all be bawl on track with a nice locate and chop on tree. I've only ever had one that was bawl on track and tree. The noses should be colder than you need in most cases. All of the junk has been culled, culled, culled and these inbred litters are producing very clean and talented dogs. All that's needed is a few years of good training and plenty of opportunity to learn their trade.

danny681- Thanks. It took a lot of going through dogs to get to this point. These and Queens pups (when I get her bred) should take me through a few more years. My youngest child is off to school this fall and I'm looking forward to training these up and getting back in the woods. As all of the other fathers out there know, it will be bitter sweet. I'm going to miss having my little one around all of the time.

I hope there are some real lookers in this batch. Kuby is putting out fantastically built dogs and I'm looking forward to seeing what these pups look like. I'm hoping to see a little hair on this litter too.

I went back and looked up what I recorded on Pedwin and today is the day. I went out to the box this morning and there are 6 pups so far. There are two merles and 4 dark pups. I'm not sure if they are black or black and tan. I'll have a closer look at them later today.

It's been a little while since I had some Leopard pups running around so I'm very pleased. They still have to make it though. I'll post a picture and a count of colors and genders in a few days when I go in to remove dew claws.

Two merles, two black and tans and two blacks. Each color pair has one male and one female each...so, 3 males and 3 females.

Sounds like an exciting litter coming up! With a pedigree stacked like that — especially with so much Hoosier and Camo Jug blood — these pups are bound to have the tools to become solid hounds. Really appreciate how selective you've been with your breeding; culling hard and focusing on clean, capable dogs shows real dedication to quality. stickman hook
