i have a dc 30 that i am only getting about 400 yards out of and it loses signal. i can track all the other collars fine except this one. it has all the new updates. any suggestions of what it could be or is this a problem for garmin

The problem is probably in the VHF antenna. Many of the dealers are selling replacement antennas that will do wonders for your DC 30.
Cost should be less than $15 and it takes about 5 minutes for you to install.

yea i was wondering if the antenna was broke. ill probably order one of the tuff skins and see if that makes a differnce
