Pedigree name?

At what point should a dog lose it's ped name? Like house or sackett or clover? I've noticed some people call there dog a certain strain when it probally shouldn't be.

depending on how heavy the blood is on the ped determines how they would be classified

ped name

also have to remember, that would also depend on the nose ur dog has. now days most people breed hot nose, tree happy dogs. i prefer a cold nose that will pick a track hours old and run it, where as most young dogs today run right by it. people breed for tree power. don't need to it's already in them to tree. breed for the nose.

I get tickled reading some of the ad's as well and then you start looking at the pedigree and your like, hmm, that dog is not bred at all the way it is advertised.

My opinion if it dont show in 3 generation pedigree probably should change it. I like how people put house in front of there dogs name and the only house in it is lipper about 6 generations back... But i guess it really dont matter, a name is a name and doesnt make the dog any better. But my personal opinion is if the breeders stock is no longer showing on top and bottom up close then it shouldnt have his name one it.
