Hog Dog:

I have a 1995 Tacoma 4X4, 4 Cyclinder, 230,000 miles, I only average about 18 MPG per fill up.

Not that great on Gas but man can they go.

I've owned mine since it was 2 years old and have only had to change the oil, filters, Replace the leaf springs after a nite of hunting and just put a new exhaust on.

Not to bad for a 16 year old vehicle.

GO TOYOTA!!!!!!

I had a 97 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 I had 250,000 on it when I sold it it got around 19 mpg. I have a friend that has a 96 Tacoma that has over 400,000!!!!! I know it is hard to believe but true. The truck still has the original motor and trans in it. Now that is one tuff truck.

I own a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 4-cyl. with 265/ 75R-16 tires , and it has always got 21-22 mpg. I't doesn't matter if I drive on curvey
gravel roads or the Interstate , that's what it gets.

I have a 2006, 4.0 6cyl. with 17 x 285's. it gets 17-18 pulling a load of wood ( 4x8 trl loaded) it gets 19 around town and 21+ on the road. I have had 3 four cylinders and they got about the same maybe a mile or two better. With the way this 6 cyl works, runs and the fuel mileage...I'll stay with this 4.0

I got a 98 4x4 regular cab. Automatic. Got 31x10.50 buckshot mudders on it. 4 cyl. Got 165,000 and it only gets 17 mpg no matter what no better or worse. Always 17 but I don't pull with it. Just think that's A LOT better than my 06 tundra gets! It ranges from 11 to 15.
