Whats the coon hunting been like lately?

just wondering what the huntings been like in your area lately...short tracks, long tracks, or no tracks lol....hows the young dogs coming along?

Sucks here but for some reason. I can't stop going. Coons ain't walking much at all. Sows still laid up and the boars must be resting. Been hot as crap. Walk a little and your soaking wet but a Im fixin to hit it again

The berries are dropping good, skeeters are a pain. Weather is jumping back and forth, but all in all Id say 15-20 min drops.

Pet'em up,water'em up, and on to the next drop.

Right now we have been treeing some, Mostly mama coons and their babies! And some porcupines!!! LOL!!

Hot and Dry here

Some tracks long some short. Some cold some hot. Treiing a few kitten coon. Seem like if you turn out before dark you can find one that's been down getting water. Then it don't pick back up till 11 or 12 at night. This what I've seen and most folks around here see also.

weather back and forth, skeeters are bad. been treeing some but dont seem to be running great. along the crick banks seem to be best. ive tried 9:30-10 and 3am maybe i will try the before dark or 11-12 pm like was suggested.

hot and dry here........... gators are out in full force. most tracks have been bad and long. coons moving more around 3 to 5 am. went the other morning at 4 am and it was 91 degrees..........hottttt. the highs have been 100 +

beeen realllly rough aint treed a coon in like 2 weeks it aint the dog either.. just cant seem to hunt the right time when thee movin iv tried just before dark iv tried midnight. guees this week ill have to try early mornings.. its rough tryin to get dogs tuned up but cant buy a coon track

WOW lol ill keep my snowy winters for cooler summers ive been treeing the coon decent but the weathers warming back up after being upper 60s low to mid 70s all week so we will see what this week holds

Bad here. Tracks are ice cold and take a fast dog 30 mins to an hour to get treed.

Been pretty good around here this week. Turn out right at dusk and usually got one treed within 5-10 minutes.

its been off and on here some nites u can go out and u can swear it couldnt get ne better then others nites u wished u wouldve jus stayed at the house its been hot hear but the guys been flushing rice so wont be long till we be able to get some rice field chases
