Rule #1
You simply can not minus a dog for a situation that it is not possible to earn plus points for.....
Since the hunt time had expired, there is no way the dog could get plus points for that tree.....so it simply can not be penalized by giving it minus points.
You can't apply the stationary on the dog prior to the hunt time expiring, because there were already two dogs declared treed on that tree....
The handler can not tree the dog after the hunt time expires.....
If the dog is trailing when hunt time expires, those points are
deleted....
Since there is no way for the dog to receive plus points for that tree...you simply CAN NOT MINUS him.....To me, it's not any different than if the dog were to come in to the cast after the time had expired...you can't minus the dog. THE HUNT TIME HAD EXPIRED.....
