Reward for stolen Hounds

I lost my red & white Kody and black Maverick dogs in Moon Lake Canyon above Mountain Home Utah on the South Slope of the Uinta Mountans last friday on a bear. Been after them ever since and found both tracking collars in a pond near the Mountain Home turn off near Altamont today. Both dogs are gone and the DWR and Sheriff Departments were called in to investigate.

A reward is offered for their safe return. Special offer to any Hound Members: Safe return of those two hounds and the name of the person who stole them is worth a free lion or bear hunt with me on any unit within reason provided I'm permitted or within my legal rights to take you.......

Contact the country Sheriff, UDWR or myself with any information.

Thanks for putting that up Buddy, cause we didn't know whether it was local or not. I turned out My hounds were near Mountain Home and only a couple miles from where the collars were dumped. They were wearing new collars and chains, and kenneled as well. The man claims he has had them for around ten days, or picked them up the following day after I sent them running down the road without collars.

Funny how two dogs can shake five collars with name plates and two of the tracking collars are found in a pond next to the highway. But to be fair, he could be telling the truth and somebody else too the collars off to be mean but I doubt it. To his credit he called after his wife saw one of my flyers in the store; but let's be honest here, he had them for ten days and never called the pound, the sheriff or anybody else looking for an owner...................stinks doesn't it?

Turn on your hawk eyes. At least now, you know what vehicle to look for.

Sounds like we western hounddoggers need an Amber Alert saying, "lost dogs watch for hound thieves leaving the Basin."

Lots of laughs.........
