GRNTCH "PR"Dancing Skeeter - RIP Grandma

It was a sad day at Wills Mt. Kennels today as we put the dog my girls called "Grandma" (GRNTCH Dancing Skeeter) to rest under an ol oak tree on Will's Mountain.
Thank you Darrell & Rhonda Brown for letting us enjoy this old girl.
We had nothing to do with the training or putting of titles on her but sure enjoyed hunting our pups and knocking coon out with her.
The girls loved taken her as they knew somewhere they where going to be able to shoot a coon (sometimes 100 yds, sometimes 2 miles) it didn't matter to Skeeter.
She was as accurate a dog as I have been around and handled like a Cur dog.
Thank you to the late Bob Walters, Mr Gibson, Mr Brown and anyone else who had a hand in training such a fine hound.
She was a fine example of "Tapp" breeding (Hillbilly Iceslider x Dancing Pepper)
Grandma, you'll always have a place in our hearts and under the ol oak tree on Wills Mt.

Sorry to hear that girls. Hopefully, Skeeter's expert hunting abilities were a positive influence on those young hounds she "trained". Enjoy the memories and think about her often when you're sitting on the tailgate waiting for the dogs to get treed.

Thank you Allen. I know that my sisters have been around and have been able to hunt "Grandma" more than I have but I can sure say that she was a nice hound and a sweetheart. I will miss her dearly too and I think that it will be hard on the whole family for a good while. We really appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Brown for letting us share part of her life with us. Hopefully she is up in heaven chewing on a big old coon right now as I know that she would probably like that a good bit. We will miss her very much.

Very Sorry to hear about Skeeter. It's tough to lose a dog that's been a part of your life and kennel. I'm sure she helped to train your young guns well enough that you'll still be able to keep the gun at the ready with every tree.

I am so sorry to hear about "Skeeter"...

My heart hurts for one of my favorite families. I have a feeling she was a big reason that you all do what you do and love it as much as you do.

Love you guys and I sure am sorry!!!
