does anybody have any dogs out of red bud and if so how did they turn out.where they good tree dogs and did they open much on track.when did they start running and treeing?thanks

I know that this isn't exactly what you are looking for, but I have got a young litter of pups sired by Red Bud on the ground right now. They are about 3 1/2 months old. I have been taking a few of them out to the woods during the day to run. They are NOT affraid to go explore on their own and seem to be very gamey for their age. They are constantly using their nose to check things out. Only time will tell. They are some fine looking hounds too!

I have a half brother to red bud. I bred him to my female and sold the pups. Two guys told me that their pups were running and treeing their own coon at 4.5 months old. I know of 6 out of the 11 pups from that litter that made nice dogs! The other 5, I have no idea where they are now. The ones I hunted with were good tree dogs and opened good on track too. Not sure if this is the info you needed, but I hope it helps.

Hunted with a son of Red Bud off a heavy Raef bred female.One of the most beautiful hounds I've ever looked at.He was a tree dog,Every breath but would set back from the tree.He was a little tight on the ground but you would know where he was going. The best kill dog I have ever seen work on a coon.Nice hound.
