Treed or not?

Ok 4 dog cast. Dogs A,B and C are struck, dogs A,B get treed. Wait the 5 and go to the tree. After seeing the coon and dogs are gathered up. The 8 is put on dog C, dog D opens and dog C is called treed right behind it followed by dog D being treed. Now do you go right to dog's C,D or do you have to wait the 5? My opinion is at this point all dogs are considered treed. I have heard and seen it done both ways! What is the Proper way to do it?

I thought if no dogs are out loose and all dogs are treed, (except for the 2 on the leash) then you go straight to the dogs and you aint gotta wiat 5 minutes .

Go directly to them because, as you mentioned and per Rule 17, "all dogs are declared treed".

you have to recast dogs A and B if other dogs are still trailing. if dogs C and B were treed when u got to dogs A and B then u cant recast dogs A and B then u go straight to dog C and D

There is no better feeling than when your setting on a creek bank listening to some swamp music.

Ok if that is true !! when are dogs considered not treed any longer.

I would think when the coon was found, or shinning time was up, or is it when time out is called or sent during the 8 minute rule running.

Just curious...

as soon as they are turned loose. if they are on leashes when the others get treed, they can't be turned loose. and you can go to the treed dogs without putting the 5 min on them.
