how long does your light hold up?

I just had a light made by a guy locally. The light is a double eleven volt with a switch board in it. This light is as bright as a 21 volt. and will burn for 8 hours on the high side and 20 hours on the low side on about half power. I've never heard of any one else making a light like this. and these hours are with the standard 5100 style head. has any one else heard of a light like this?

the one I have isn't an led head. if it was it would hold up alot longer. most lights i was looking at would only hold up 2 1/2 hours on the high side with the standard 5100 head.

My Predator and my K-light will both hold up a week hunting five or six nights. I rarely use the high side on the Predator as it is too bright to suit me.

couldnt tell ya...i charge mine after every nite hunt and after every 2 pleasure hunts..(usually use it double the time on a nite hunt)

i much rather charge it than be stuck in the dark!

and with the smart chargers and better batteries we have now, theres not much to worry about...the smart chargers shut themselves off or whatever...and the batteries dont have "memory" and such...

ive been running mine like that for i think 4 or 5 years now with no problems...about time to think about a new one before the batteries do need replaced..

I bought a Laser Torch and I use it for coonhunting and on the yard. The longest hunt I have made with the light is 7 hours. I used the light on the high side. Granted it wasn't on the whole night but I never used the low side. I use the light in the high side for yard use and havn't charged it in about 2 months.

Here soon the light is going to get used while fishing and soon there after frog gigging. I love this light so far. It isn't the absolute brightest but it works for me!
