i really like the muck wooded armour boot. if its snake proof its got to be stick proof right lol lasted 2.5 times longer than others without a hole. im also looking for a back up pair cant decide whether to put dans or yoder on this boot this time though

The snake proof mucks get alot of thorns and holes. One night i was walking through a overcut and a stick jamed up through the sole of the boot; lucky i was only a couple hundred yards from the truck because i had to pull the stick with a pair of pliers. Since then i have ordered a pair of muck wetlands i think. They're the brown colored ones with a lightwieght chap and have yet to have them punctured by a thorn. I also order straight from dans. call and talk with them about what you are looking for. They are very knowledgeable about thier products.

Wetlands and heavy chaps. The heavier chap will not only give you more protection but will also protect the top of the boot more. Mine are 2.5 years old and the only thing that put a hole in em was a coon. I sealed it up with JB weld and they don't leak anymore.
