I am 40 miles from Guntersville, the rain you referring to -- Wick's would have been soaked....short of a rain suit, anything would have been drenched with that storm front that we had come through.

i was right around scottsboro fishin and it did rain hard but the coat never lasted an hour in it, my brother had some type of light rain coat like a frog tog that held up well. i may try the nite lite coat,it looks nice.

Those Frogg Toggs work. There raingear and made for the rain. Perfect for fishing in the rain in the middle of the lake.

I personally wouldn't trade one Dans jacket for a closet full of nite lite jackets. I have both and in my opinion the Dans jacket is leaps and bounds ahead of the nite lite jacket. The nite lite jackets are not briar proof either. JMO

Dans made in USA
Nite Lite made in China
