La Crosse boots

Does anyone put chaps on any of the following LaCrosse Boots?

Grange
Alpha Lite
Burly

I don't like Muck boots and the La Crosse Alpha Burly lites don't hold up very well.

Dan's has them I believe and Tim's makes them, but they are tough to get.

I know what you mean Perry. The alpha burly sports are what I like but after a couple weeks the lining on the heels is gone and I can't get them on.

I have alpha burly sports with dans chaps and love them. One of the most comfortable boots I have had.

Who else sews them on well? Doesn't sound like Tim's has been keeping up with their customers lately.

I think everyone that makes chaps puts them on all the LaCrosse boots. Valley Creek is my fav. Dans are good too. I'd like to try Yoders next.

Valley Creek is my preference to but they only list the Mucks and the Alpha Burly sports. I just don't have much luck with those two boots. I remember using the old Grange and Burlys those boots would outlast the chaps.

I've been using some old panty hose but that just seems weird.
