comp. hunt question...

are you aloud to turn your tracer on your shocki g collar on or are you suppose to turn it off. i know your suppose to leave your handheld in the truck. just dobt k ow a out have lights on your collers.

I wouldn't want it on because if your dog is declared treed and on the way in your dog is seen off the tree even a few feet some judges will minus your dog for leaving the tree. JMO

You are allowed to have lights on, they aren't considered a locating device.

yep lighted collars are allowed.....


ive seen it hurt more than it helps...


like was said, dog coming off tree, failing to hunt, etc...

i dont have to worry about mine getting minus for coming off a tree because she is a stay put tree dog unless i call off the tree. and when you turn her loose you want see her untill she gets tree.

I've won some big hunts with a lighted collar on! Had one on last night, didn't do so well, but it wasn't because of the lighted collar! lol
