Every year at this time.....

I question why I live where I do. March 5 and its still a winter wonderland. Man am I ready for spring.

The state of Michigan is like the state of Ohio only turned upside down. Southern Michigan and Central Michigan has a hearty coon population. This part of the state is also very flat. Northern Michigan and Southern Ohio is more rugged terrian and less coon. There are spots coon are plentiful around me but there are also spots porkys out number coon 2 to 1.

It could be worse. Ya could live in the Porcupine Mountains with the several feet of snow, wolves, and potentially snow until May.lol

there are problems no matter where you live. ideally, we would have a home in the north and south, that way we could hunt in the early winter up north and the late season in the south.
