I'm looking for information/suggestions on types of hunts I can do with my Rhodesian Ridgeback?

We have zero experience. He has live-caught two rabbits while on the run with me, and drove a deer - all unintentional, we just happened into the situations. He is very much the sighthound, keeping an eye out for rabbits, squirrels. Also works his nose a lot - he's a whole different animal on big game tracks. Doesn't seem particularly interested in birds, although he did run a hawk off our cat.

I'm not a hunter, myself. I just think this dog has some very good instinctive behavior, kinda hate to see it "go to waste." I was wondering if there are venues where I could tag along, learn to work with my dog, get him some testing and maybe some experience?

they are natural cyote dogs run by sight,catch and kill,big mouth lots of teeth.do good on bobs if they see em.the breed is very stuborn.good luck
