What do you do for your older dogs?

I bought an older walker female last night, she is grade so nobody knows exactly how old she is but she is a really nice dog. Very accurate and will make a really good pup trainer. Judging by her teeth Id say shes between 7-9. Do you all give your older dogs any special supplements or anything to keep them feeling good?

Thanks!

I got one be 9 in July. She gets nothing but hunted. Still hunts like she always has. Still as loud as she's ever been.Only difference I can see is she gets hotter now than she did when she was 2.

I feed a soy free food and I give mine Gatorade or Pedialyte to keep them hydrated while hunting in the summer months.. They are loaded with electrolytes and keeps them from getting over heated..

RED CELL LIQUID for canines......mixed in with their food everyday or so has always seemed to help mine.....works good with females going to whelp pups too. you can find it at UPCO or ask your local farm store to order it for you, sold by the quart and gallon.
