State Race Runoffs

Now I know that in HH that the top 16 run off, is it the same in PP or just 10. I keep reading the hunt results and it seems that the numbers seem to be down. I have seem numbers like 9, 3,and 6. Seems like there should be more with the number of hounds that qualified. I know I won't be going to the runoff this year, just because of work and school. Oh well that's the way the chips fall. Hopefully the numbers come up.

Only been trialin fer pushin 4 yrs. and im done been there seen that and Im a man that can read the fine print of er all! Its like this ive worked soley a couple trades the last 20yrs. and there isnt any extra money out there in these days times are BAD-----in the last year hunts are way down lets jus face it folks gota lot better things to do with the cabbage than spend it on a bunch of letters in front of there hounds name on paper--what matters is whats on there dinner plate fer the week and its comming to the point of whats on there dinner plate fer the eve.----You have stated on here that it is awfull ez to champion a hound and I agree it is fer the simple fact that there is jus 2 casts of reg. hounds that go out the door at 90% of the hunts and it haint uncommon to see a decent hound finish wit 2 number 1s!!!!!!!!!! THATS IS THE REASONING I STRESS DONT CHASE PAPERS when lookin at a future upgrade LOL-LOL-LOL! Moral of it is lets all unite and HOPE -N-PRAY FER BETTER TIMES! I FEEL SORRY FER THE YOUTH!

Re: State Race Runoffs

In Performance Pack the only dogs in the run off are the top 10. The First place dog in each state advance to the runoff at the Performance Pack Nationals without competing in the run off at the state level.

Well Jed!

Just from reading the post. Some started say they had 6, one said 3, but one did say 9. I guess I am talking about the state race. At least that's what I said. So if there is a steady increase in 3 it must have been 2 last year. As far as where I am getting my information it's from the board! I do see it is growing, I mean I know Rick had at least 50 hounds at the 2 non licensed hunts he had. Wait till he holds his big hunt. Overall I think it is growing, just seems like the #'s are down for the runoffs?

As far as me coming to one, it will be awhile. With work and school I am covered up. I will give you about a year to get one in shape enough to run with me. But remember I have a new secret weapon for next year. If you wanna run with me come on down more than welcome to!!!

I will be at the PP hunts next year you can count on it. Hope to see you there. Hopefully we don't run into any fox while we are casted!!

West Virginia invited 10 dogs to the PP run off. 2 female were in heat, one Owner decided he couldn't make the Nationals so why put out another dog in contention. We hunted 7. Last year if I remember correctly it was three or four.
We have seen a steady increase in entries and interest since we started holding PP events. We are expecting 2011 to be even better.
