I would like to see two classes of UKC shows. One where you had to hunt the dog the day of and the other where age and hunting points did not matter.
My son will be three at the end of this month and every time we have company and the conversation turnes to dogs he goes and gets his little tykes show trophy. There is more pride in that little trophy than all my old trophy's put together. He won it at the Mo youth state hunt along with all the little kids that participated.
How much fun would a buch of us showing 2 month old pup's be? I think it would be a blast!
Gary More the Tooley family Frances Dodd and a bunch of other people put the youth state hunt and show on and did a GREAT job! If your state does not have a youth hunt you are missing out on a good time.

Thank you Donnie! I am so happy to hear your boy is proud. Please make sure you check out the facebook page I have started for the youth hunt stuff. It is called Booger County Beaglers and so far we do not have many people but it is a safe place to post pictures of the kids and talk about what we would like to try and do this year. You have to request membership, this is to protect our kids from people I do not reconize that are not in the beagle world.
