Garmin glitch?

Went hunting last night, had both my dogs. They got pretty deep and I went back to the truck and drove closer. Walked about half a mile to where they should have been and nothing there. One dog showed the lost signal but the other one showed to be right there still running. I finally turned the unit off and back on to reset and then it showed them treed over two miles away for a second or two and then lost signal. I drove and finallly found them treed where it said they were but have never had this happen before. Wondered if anyone else has ever had this happen? Thought for a minute they were kidnapped by aliens or something. Lol.

I have one collar that when it loses communication the dog stays on the screen and doesn't turn to a question mark like it should. Anymore, I check the communication status if I have any doubts.

Thanks, I bet that's what happened. I also have a LED head but have never had any trouble with interference from that ever.
