On 1-14-11 The Northwest Minnesota Houndsmen Association held its Annual Meeting and Year End Awards banquet.

Dates were set for the 2011 Season:
March 26 2011 Show 2:00pm
May 20 & 21 2011 BBOA Event shows 7p and hunts 9p
August 12 and 13 2011 hunts, water race and show
September 23 and 24 2011 hunts, water race and show
10,000 Lakes Point event will be held on Sept. 24 2011.

There were a total of 19 hounds that competed for the 2010 Top Show Hound. Top Honors went to:

Top Show Hound: CH NT CH Pr Zimmerman's Pep-E owned and handled by Chris Stoppelman
Runner Up Show hound: CH Pr Dailey's Unstable Mabel owned and handled by Chris Dailey
3rd Show Hound went to: Pr Trappers Little Miss owned and handled by Craig Hendershot

There were a total of 30 hounds that competed for the Top Night Hunt Title.

Top Nite Hunt Hound went to: Ch Pr Grant Valley's Blue Jessie owned and handled by Jeff Strowbridge.
Runner up went to: Pr Trappers Little Miss owned and handled by Craig Hendershot.
3rd Hunt Hound went to GR CH Pr Susie's Put Em Up Pogo owned and Handled by Susie Olson.

Due to the bad weather and rough roads not all of the award winners were able to attend. For those of you who were not able to attend I do have your Jackets, Sweatshirts and hats. Please get ahold of me so we can make arrangements to get you your prizes.

Thank you all for a great 2010!! Congratulations to all of the winners and new officers!! We are looking forward to a fun and exciting 2011~ Got some great changes coming our way!!
