 just thinking outloud about something

i guess i need something to do but i was just thinking about why Orangeburg SC doesnt have a beagle club...The closest one in the santee area.. i was thinking maybe if i can find some other hunters we could start up a beagle club here....I guess since i live in Orangeburg, home of the grand american , i would like to see an event for us rabbit hunters here as big as the grand american....we do have alot of rabbits here, and alot of good grounds to hunt on...I know it would take years to get it even compared to the grand american but we got to start somewhere....

Get ahold of Jed Nichols from UKC. He will help you with all your club needs and put you into contact with a UKC rep that can help you with your questions and gameplan. If you can get 4 solid guys together, it is alot easier than it seems to have a club up and running! Good luck with putting a club together and dont hesitate to ask for help on the forum!
I hope its a go, as I need a trip to SC soon!

thanks... i will just have to find some hunters around here..most who have beagles round here run deer , but i will start searching today

There was one in santee for years closed down two years ago do to very low entries they ran it out of the firehouse. presidents name was Walt.
