Dc 40 Test

I got a dc 40 today and it has the new updates in it and so I tested it with a dc 30 and the dc 40 worked great it locked on the satellites very quick and kept signal as good as the dc 30. If the dc 30 dropped the signal the dc 40 would drop it also, and if the the dc 40 and the dc 30 would drop the signal also but they would pick up the signal about the same time to. The dc 40 also keep full signal inside of my house. After trying the dc 40 with the new dayglo collar that come on it and with the new charging craddle I will give the dc 40 a big thumbs up. If anyone has dc 40 collar you don't like let me know because I want to get some more of them. The test was done in NC

I've had mine since they were introduced and have had better service then the DC30 combo I had a few months prior.

Between myself and the boys I hunt with regularly, we have a total of 6 collars.
Now I'm not saying they are perfect. I've had 1 I had to send back in and one for a customer. Both had a battery problems, but as far as picking up and not loosing service, they are better.

If you want your Garmin to preform at its best, You Have To Run The Updates, and it doesn't matter if you have 30's or 40's.
I run mine every other month.
