 Strike Question....

First drop all four dogs are standing on their hind legs screaming and carrying on before they are unsnapped. Cast agrees to split strike points (62.5), dogs leave screaming all the way down through the woods. The track slows up or breaks down on the dogs, and one of the dogs comes back to his handler. The dog gets minused on his track and heads back down through the woods and opens up again.

Does this dog strike back in at 62.5 or 25?

The reason I ask is because rules say you can't strike over top of last strike position, but it doesn't say anything about coming back in where you left which was really last position according to split strike.

Thats what I was thinking.....I was just wondering because really not all the positions a taken. Theres a 62.5 that just opened up when the dog left his track.....
