UK playing well right now but we all know UL has at least one run in them. Have to wait and see if we can hold them off.

UL is really not that good. I never thought after watching Pitino's UK teams that he would have a team with as little talent as he does at UL.

Half of those players shouldn't be on a major D1 team.

If UL doesn't play better than they did today they will not make the NCAA tournament, they will get slaughtered in the Big East.

I agree they are benefiting from a weak schedule, but to say they won't make the tourney is dumb, They beat a good UNLV team already, but ran into a more talented team. In all honesty Kentucky only has one great player and thats Knight.

I don't think it is really that far fetched to say that they may miss the tourney. Swopshire is likely done for the year. Buckles is out for an extended period of time. Marra and Justice have nagging injuries that will limit them for the coming weeks.

I don't see them making the tourney without a winning confernce record and it will be tough for them to do that unless they improve. Right now UL has not one player that impacts the game on the inside. We are very weak up front and we dominated the paint all day.


Speaking of UK Knight is very good but having watched them play every game this year an argument can be made that Knight is their 3rd or 4th best player. He had a good game today but next game it may be Lamb or Jones. Liggins is also very important to us because he takes the responsibility of guarding the opposing teams best perimter player. For most of todays game he was on Siva and he did nothing. Cal switched him onto Knowles after he went on his streak in the second half and he was quiet the rest of the game.


I just wish we could get Kanter eligible, he would be our best player.

Give kentucky a another year and i think they will be a major force to have to beat but they still have to beat them duke blue devils as there in it year after year.

Virgil i agree we have some great role players.
Lamb might be the best we have.N.C showed are
weakness and again today Harrelson had to play
most of the game.

Anyone else find it odd that Pitino wears the championship ring he won at UK while coaching for UL. Even wears it when he plays against UK
