I See Green

first time i have seen a little grass in the yard in a long while. goin to take skeet out tonight. cant wait, omg. so, do i take him alone or not. been awhile and i am thinkin alone. was gonna do a quick drag and leave him in the house til i was done, if he picks up on the drag and leaves the gut piles alone it will make my day. let's see how serious he is. he will be officially 9 mos. old tomorrow and i dont know a better way to bring in the new year. with a hound . maybe to mark a spectacular year with him. i havent had him out for well over a month. i know he is still young, real young. but, come spring, i will be in the woods every oppurtunity, that's why i dont want these nice nights to pass us by.
so, by himself or with the old man????? i have an oppurtunity to get a loaner pup trainer, should I???? after all, it is a walker.lol. i am afraid of having another person's dog and having responsibilty of it also. well, responses welcome, and if it is a smart a$$$$ one, well, figure that you will get a retort.

ALONE...... As soon as they know what you re out there for a pup trainer is useless. JMO, might take a little more patience and there will be nights when you feel like you are wasting your time but you will end up wit a much better and more independent hound.

Hunt him alone where you know there is coons! If he doesn't get anything going take him home and put him up. Then take the dog out where you just took your pup and see what he does. If there is some coon moving you will know it then.If there not moving you will know it. I personelly like a young dog that doesn't make something happen when , When there is nothing happening.
