I have a 2 yr old dog that will hunt good by himself. With company if another dog strikes first he will come back to me. If he strikes first it's not a problem for other dogs to go with him but he WILL NOT go with another dog. Other dogs can tree with him without a problem. Do you guys have any tips or tricks up your sleeve your willing to share ?

Everytime he comes back put him in the box, he'll get tired of that real quick when he can hear the other dogs treeing and the gun shooting the coon out.

I WOULD HUNT HIM ALONE ONLY UNTIL HE GETS OLDER. HE IS FOR SURE NOT GOING TO BE A ME TOO DOG. IF YOU DECIDE TO CULL HIM I HAVE A SPOT IN THE KENNEL FOR HIM.

My then lead dog died in January in a hunting accident (he fell about 40-50 feet out of a tree). When this happen it put me to walking this dog 2-3 nights a week by himself. Well I thought I would start hunting him with some other dogs but he is like a 3 month old pup with other dogs. I do have a 1 yr old pup that will go with him for a little while before he comes back. When he opens on a track it is a coon as he has yet to run any junk (fingers crossed). I have seen 20-25 coons with him this season hunting 2-3 nights a week.
