The heel on the inside will wear out but a set of bama booties fixes that problem..They wear twice as good as any others but I think hes asking about the waders on these new boots..Not the boot its self..I looked at em on line and they seem way higher than other waders..Why is that?

MUCKS

I've got a couple pairs of MUCK boots and they by far are Not worth the time to buy. The sole has came out, and they leak in the boot. I bought me a pair of lacrosse burly sport boots and chaps, SO far they are the best I've ever purchased! I'll stand by them 100%! JMO

I have a pair of woodland boots with chaps I got off mucks website. I have had them going on 3 years now. Mine are not worn out and do not leak. I have put them through heck and back. I coyote hunt, frog gig, coon hunt and I wear them when we take the mud trucks out. I hunt with another guy and he has the same boot with valley creek chaps and he loves them. My brother in law loves his boots without chaps. His last pair lasted 5 years. He tore the neoprene on barbwire and retired that pair.

I won't be buying a muck boot again either...insides came apart and had cracks/leaks on either side of both boots at the base of your toes after 6-7 months...they were very comfortable and very warm though...kind of a shame.

LACROSSE All The Way

I agree with Roof Monkey. It's a shame a boot that is so comfortable and warm doesn't last. I thought a lot of mine til they started leaking BELOW the chaps. Not where they we're sewn together. Had one pair one a year before they did this, and the other 4 months later. I personally am a firm believer now in my lacrosse burly sport boots. They are comfortable, not too warm but those nights when you have to haul it in to those lonely dogs they are worth their weight in gold in comfort. JMO

DO NOT BUY A PAIR OF MUCKS WITHOUT GETTING A PAIR OF BOOTIES. THEY ARE THE LIFE OF THE HEAL OF THE BOOT. WITH THIS SETUP THEY LAST ABOUT A YEAR THEN TIME FOR A NEW PAIR.
