I don't know which is best, I suspect they are all very good heads but I just went back to my old bulb head after useing the G-2 for the last several months. In the winter the G-2 is hands down preferable to the bulb head but with the leaves on and looking for eyes, I just can't get them to look at the LED head. I think it is just too bright or too white even at the lowest settings. Maybe it's just me but they sure seem to look at the bulb alot better than they look at the LED.

I don't have any trouble getting them to look at my LED head. With that being said if I were to buy another today it would have to be the new Tech 2 head and light deal from Tim's. I have been hunting with a Pro Head for quite some time now, and have seen most of the different brands in action. Tim's new head is hands down the best one I have seen so far.

I tried a neck strap with my Pro Head and didn't like it at all. It pointed straight down at the ground instead of out in front of you.

There all about the same. I have to use a pop cover to get them to look at my LED head now that it is summer time back when the leafs where off they looked at the LED real good. After saying that some LED heads are easier to find pop cover that fit. It sucks trying to hold the cover shine, hold the dog, fight the trees and ect.. So get one that has a pop cover that fits and from who ever you think stands behind there stuff the best.

I seen a VC the other night and for light output there is no difference in the VC, G2 or white lightning.

ROUGHCREEK, IM NOT SURE OURS IS BETTER THAN EVERYTHING OUT THERE? I DO KNOW OURS AND BRIGHT EYES ARE ALOT ALIKE!I DO KNOW WE HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE OUT OF OUR HEAD AND I DO KNOW SOME OTHER LED HEADS THEY HAVE HAD SOME TROUBLE GETTING TO HOT AND BURNING UP!

WE SELL SEVERAL OF THESE NEW VC PRO SERIES LIGHTS EVERYDAY AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY COMPLAINTS. ASK ANYONE THAT HAS ONE AND JUST ASK THEM WHAT THEY THINK?

MOST OF OUR HEADS ARE MADE IN THE USA SO NO CHEAP PARTS HERE!

I drew a guy using the Bright Eyes LED head and my Smart Light didn't even compare. I had intentions of looking at getting a Bright Eyes but if Valley Creek is offering one that is as good or better that is the route I'd go.

the only thing i see wrong with the one i got from k-lite is it dont go dim enough. very little difference from dim & bright & to bright for shining trees this time of year. even with a pop cover.
