I am a Black Gold person and love the feed.

I feed 2 different kinds. Ultimate Adult and Black Bag. My hounds love it and do great on the feed. Have feed it for 4 years and not plan on changing anytime soon.

I like Black Gold better....I currently feed Sportsman's Pride, and BG and SP are made at the same place. When you put them in a barrell together you can't tell which is which.

I like Black Gold the dogs seem to like it better. another feed i use is Pride, theyre both very good.

Purina One here Purina & Black Gold do alot for our sport. I can feed Purina cheaper ($ per lb) with the Pro Club checks, my dogs eat it very well, they look good, have plenty of energy and not alot to clean up in the lot.

I've fed Purina Pro Plan and it is mediocre at best.
I fed ultra, (until winter, then you can plan on feeding 4-5 times as much) I fed PZAZZ until I got some bags that smelled like card board and the dogs wouldn't touch it. Switched to Black Gold, dogs are putting on weight. Diamond is like Pro Plan just OK.

Neither. We used to feed Ultra but our dog starts losing hair after he is on it and he gets more than a couple bags. Never tried Black and Gold. We feed diamond and love it. Sets with all 4 of our dogs really well.

I tried Black Gold for a while a few years ago but I was less than impressed wifh it. I have never fed Ultra but looking at the ingredients list it seems to be just another Chicken Meal dog food. Going by that I would not think it was in the Class with either the Purina ONE or Exceed Lamb and Rice diets I'm feeding my Blue mutts. There might be a good bit of price difference. Not sure since I have not priced Ultra. I'm only feeding three dogs.

I feed ultra 24/20 and seem to have very good results,dogs look good and hunt good about 4 nights a week.For the money in my area it is hard to beat,the price recently went up from 19.50 to 21.00 per 50#.
