Coon Falls Out Of Tree

This did not happen in a hunt, but got me thinking about if it did. If two dogs are treed on a tree and as your walking in the coon falls out of the tree and they get it on the ground. How do you score this? As a tree still or as just a coon caught on the ground? Just something to think about.

It would be scored the same as catching it on the ground. Draw a line through the tree points and plus the strike points.

I don't know if this would matter, but what if the judge had already seen the dogs on the tree says handle your dogs, and it falls. Again this did not happen, i just thought it would be interesting.

I had a crazy thing once. A 4 dog cast with all four dogs treed. Just before we got to the tree two dogs left and when we arived at the tree we found the following. The two dogs that left the tree were chewing on a fresh killed coon. The other two dogs were treed with coons up the tree.We deleted the tree points of the two that had left the tree and plussed their strike points (they had caught the coon at the tree). We plussed both strike and tree points of the two who stayed treed.
