I had a female out of him. Great mouth, looks, treedog. She never could run a track like I like and pulled up short a lot. Maybe the slick treeing was partially my fault but no one can teach a dog how to track.

always wondered how trackman did as a pup (year old).
I have 2 trackman littermates. the male is almost to much tree and the female does not seem very interested in a tree. both will run a track fairly well considering how dry it has been here. the male looks alot like trackman and is developing a very good locate. if he dont get to tree happy he will be all right. the female is a little on the conservative side but is starting to come around.
both pups seem to be fairly smart. they were pretty easy to teach to load and come when called. both seem to want to please you.

Just keep hunting them. Just add woods it's all it takes. Not saying everyone will make it but the dog is reproducing. Some of them you do have to keep hunted fairly hard but they will reward you for your time!
