3dog cast dog A and C are tied up. All dogs struck in on last drop. Dog A and B tree . dog b handler goes in ties his dog back dog a handler leaves his loose and is shining way before shine time is even started then starts squaling with 8 minutes left on the tree with dog c still taking his track on. No coon was found . Dog c is still tracking. When something was said about them casting there dogs back in towards dog C they said they had the option and chose not to and continued shining the tree. 15 minutes later after still trying to push the issue of them recasting there dogs, dog c trees. We go shine nothing was spotted after 10 minutes tree gets minused question gets puts on them for keeping there dogs on lead for the last 40 minutes. Dog a wins cast.dog a and b is jump in there truck sorta mad I guess from the questioned call pulls off heading back to club house. Dog c handler gets in truck to follow goes to grab the garmin for directions out since he was left and finds his garmin gone. Driving on guessing which roads to take got him lost and not being able to go question the call. Just now getting back to the high way 45 minutes past deadline is there any way of going to someone with this?

Go to the master of hounds of that club find the names then confront them about the garmin. There should have been a formal complaint placed if you made it back to the club house. This isn't a good reason to quit all toether though its just a lesson learned.

So much was wrong with this cast that it is hard to know where to begin. The management of this cast was so far gone that it would seem every castmember was at fault in some way. I would have just gone home and wrote the whole thing off as a bad hunt.

You are required to handle(tie) your dog at the tree, you can't leave them runniung loose.
You cannot shine before ther shinetime starts and it cannot start until all dogs at the tree are handled or minused for leaving.
You cannot squall two minutes into the shinetime with a dog struck and trailing.
There is no option to recast if no dogs are treed, they have to recast to dog C or they are scratched.

You might want to rethink spending your money at this club in the future and let the club know it.

Jim is right.

I don't think it would be any use in using the new process for misconduct.

I think those two could successfully argue that they were not malicious they were just completely clueless about the rules. No rules were followed anywhere it seems so they could probably get away with pleading stupidity LOL.

But it would be your word against 2 others on this.

I would definately find out who they were and me and them would have a talk about my Garmin.
