DNAing dogs

There is already a thread but did not want to highjack it....
Anyway .. If you have two dogs that are DNAed and one of the pups do not meet the standards as far as color goes ..
Is this pup still a purebred dog with papers ,,
Both parents are proven purebred .. and the pup is DNAed too ;;;; so should that not make the pup purebred no matter if it has too much white ... in the case of red dogs Or it is red and white ;in the case of blue dogs instead of black and white
Thanks in advance

Mike Crawford

I do not own either breed . But when looking at DNAed pups from DNAED dogs .... I do not know what made ne think of this ..
What ""IF "" the pups did not meet the color standard.
In dogs that are not DNAed I believe you just do not register them .
But if both parents are DNAed ....There is absolute proof they are all pure bred pups :::::

Anyone know

It doesn't make any difference if they are pure bred or not, if they don't meet the breed standards they are not supposed to be registered. When the breeder sends in an application for registeration they are saying that they have inspected the pup and it does meet the breed standard, if it doesn't then the breeder has lied.

The breed assocciations set the standards and UKC enforces them.
