 UKC- why does my pm box tell folks it's full when empty?

what's up with this pm box thing. everything is deleted, nothing in there, but i keep getting email saying so and so tried to send a pm but the box is full.
is there some kind of double secret delete i'm not seeing or doing?

You probably need to delete your sent message box!!!

gooolll-eee, who'd have thunk it. lots of b.s. in that folder. no wonder why i'm not an i.t. guy.

all things deleted- let the love letters and the hate mail begin!!! we want to have plenty of electronic PRIVATE messages around for THE communist to read when he gets his new electronic communication spy laws passed.
