Just wanted to give my opinion on a few things im not trying to make anyone mad or think that i know everything about dogs an handling dogs but ive done my fair share of coonhunting for the last 20 years or so.I know everyone isnt going to be honest at times an are going to do what ever they can to make a quick buck an thats fine at least if your wanting to make money at least be honest about your dogs no matter the habbits tell them dont put them on someone else if its not good enough for you to feed than im sure know one else would want two.If you have a dog that you dont like or slick trees all the time or want tree or even not doing anything instead of lying about it an sticking it to someone an trying to make some money try to make a kid happy an give the dog to them they would enjoy hunting an might even get it out of the habbits it has or price it to were a young hunter could afford it.
1.Tell all the bad habbits its better to be honest an someone would be more likley to buy the dog an it may not be as bad as you think it is to someone else an they might be able to turn the dog around.
2.Ask your self this if you price a dog for 2500 dollars firm an then say it slick trees an is bout 50 percent right now would you buy the dog or even give the dog a second look i dont think anyone would for that kind of money no matter how its bred
3.Another thing i hate seeing is ive got a good dog 600 off the chain or 1000 in the woods first off that doesnt look good on the dog just price the dog what you would take for it in the woods im sure most people want to hunt with the dog first.
4.this one gets me too ive seen alot on here saying dont have time to hunt because of work then on another post or will trade for a dog if you cant hunt the one you are selling then you want have time for the one you trade for.
For new comers always try the dog you are purchasing that way you really know what your getting because there are people out there that are dog traders an they are looking to stick it to you to earn a dollar so be careful what you buy an who you buy from.Lets start trying to thin out these dog traders an trade dogs that people has let go to waste an stop breeding them an get the coondogs back an the bloodlines back the way they used to be thanks for reading an let me know what you guys think or if im wrong God Bless.

i have also noticed that a lot of these people selling dogs only have a few posts,makes me wonder.

Some people have 3 or 4 screan names and the same phone number.
Then they lock their post so no one can give them up they want you to travel to them and charge 200 to 400 to put the junk on the ground
