coon hunting in Missouri?

Just wanted to know what the coon season was in Missouri. Can you hunt coons yr around?

No If its still the same it comes in in about mid-november and comes out in Mid January.

Yes u can run coondogs year round here in Missouri but cant shoot any till season which starts in mid Nov till Jan 31st.....

I agree with post above, you just can't shoot them out till coon season but you can tree them all day long if its not coon season.

mo coon regs

yes you can run your dogs year round here in mo, but only during season can you possess a firearm. if you are caught with a gun out of season you get a ticket just for possessing it whether or not you have shot a coon, or even turned your dogs loose. if you have dog, light, and gun it's a violation. unless it is a damage control situatuion which is allowed for in the missouri wildlife code. landowner has the right to protect his property. the landowner or his/her representative(coonhunter) may take coons by shooting or trapping, kills must be reported to the county agent and coons disposed of according to his say. that is not how it reads word for word but you get the idea. if you are going to hunt missouri, read the wildlife code, all of it.

I believe you can Kill coon in Arkansas all year.

MO comes in Nov 15th and out Jan 31st

Arkansas season

7/1 - 8/31 --4/per day - night only
9/1 - 11/12 --4/day - day and night - night only with dogs
11/13 - 3/31 --no limit - day and night - night only with dogs

In north central Arkansas coons are hard to find. It would be a miracle to see four in a night. Coons are really thin.
