Well here are a few of Spots for you Kells. They are not great pictures and were taken with my phone but you can see her in action anyways. These were taken after she ran a barn cougar. It went around the building and out of sight. When I arrived spots was yipping and trailing down to the woodline. She was circling in the edge of the woods and near a shed. While I was investigating I noticed her check a tree three or four times and yip. After closer examination I noticed the barn cougar way up at the top of a big spruce. When I encouraged her a bit she really opened up nice and treed well for a young pup. I was impressed that she had located on scent alone and she had opened well on track. The next day I accidentally turned her into a big bear race. She was cut in after the dogs crossed a road and minutes later I saw a large bear cross the road. I was unable to catch her and she got by me going good. She was on the bay up for approximately 1 1/2 hours and when they crossed another road I was able to catch her. Two dogs had the bear bayed in the raspberries about 200 yards above the road and spots was the third dog across and came right out on the bear's track. I made a quick grab and got her that time. I was pleased that she had stayed in there although I do not know what she was up to for that 1 1/2 hours. All the dogs on GPS were bayed on bog brook and I believe she was also there because she came out in front of some of the other dogs after the bear broke. She is a sweetheart and we are having a lot of fun with her, thanks for a great pup! She is pretty special to me and I am proud to have her riding with my plotts, lol.
