Official UKC Breed Standard for Treeing Walker Coonhound

HEAD

"NOSE - Rather large and prominent, with black pigment preferred. White or pink spots inside the nostril or on the outside of the nose are acceptable. A slightly sloping nostril is not objectionable."

Probably because it did not meet breed standard.

How didn't it meet breed standard? It says ARE ACCEPTABLE, so according to the information "coon bawls" has provided, I'm not sure why it wouldn't have met breed standards... Can you please explain Paul?
Thanks

It wouldn't meet the breed standard because he described the dog as having a pink nose, not pink spots on the nose. With the description on the first post I can only assume the dog has a completely pink nose, which is against breed standards.
