Guess what was in the dog pen this A.M.

Went out to the kennel this morning, and in the pen with my 2 year old dog was a kitten coon. Of course it was dead. I guess it was on the creek behind the kennel last night and decided to see what all the barking was about. I don't know if he just went in, or if Wam grabbed him and pulled him through. Any way, that's a first for me. I noticed the old dog that's on a chain has been barking towards the creek a lot. I guess they just been wandering around, and one made a mistake!

You had a better find then me! I woke up and found anti freeze in mine. My neighbor put it in them but I can't prove it. My dogs very rarely bark and he lives about 100 yards from them and I believe he sleeps with his window open all the time. To boot I just drew a two dog cast and the other fella wanted to flip a quarter to see who got the win. Now were driving all the way back to the clubhouse because I'm not wasteing my time with a crook like that.

I had a long message written out, but took it off.
Short version is WAKE UP AMERICA !!!
We have enough crooks in government, don't need them in coon hunting too...

IMO and mine only !!!! Ban them , put names on all KC's forums and get them out of huntin altogether.. Many deals were done on a handshake in the past at a tree... This was my moment on soapbox....

GOD Bless ya'll , and let's pray for the crooks.... Cause GOD loves them too.... I'm just at the friendship stage.. BUT working on it...

I do my very best to treat the crooks with respect I still have a lot to learn tho. These hunts can be so much fun when you draw good people but can sure make you want to pull you're hair out when you draw someone like I did tonight. Hem of course deniad ever saying it so there was nothing that I could do but file a handler mis conduct report against him. Its people like him that ruin our great sport. It takes a sorry man to say something then deny it. He will one day answer to God who is much greater then some moh.

What's In Dogs Box?

(1) Once found a live possum in my dogs box. My dog wouldn't go in her box. She'd been busted for possum, so she wasn't going anyway near it. Had to noose it up and take it out of there before she would go back in. That's been approx. 25 - 30 years ago.

(2) A female that I have now would let a cat sleep in her box, and even babysat her kittens.

Last year I found a dead rabbit in the beagles pen. I also found a cat in the dog box once. I don't know how it got in there, but the door was shut. I guess it could have got in, but it sure didn't want to come out.
